Jeremy @ new library

Shirt- a no name Italian brand with blue and white mini checks. He picked it up for around $30.
Jeans- designer Aussie label Ksubi. He found these on sale for $129, reduced from $290.
Jacket- he bought it for $150 one day when he wagged school. He saw it the next day for $50. Lesson: Don't wag school, kids. Karma will deliver.
Tie- $12 from the Venetian markets in Italy. The print is the Lion of Venice- a symbol of the Venetian empire.
Belt- Jag. Found in his brother's room after he moved out of home.
Shoes- Zara. He bought these on his first day off of his missionary service in Italy for his church. His companion at the time could hardly wait to show him the huge store in Venice.
Watch- Fossil oversized silver chronograph. A gift from his fiance last Valentines day.
Sunglasses- Forever 21 (online store as featured in our online shopping guide). They were only $5!

Jeremy's fashion philosophies:
1) You can wear as many colours as you please; just as long as you repeat each colour at least once.
2) A man should wear a tie as much as possible!
3) You can never be overdressed. You can just look better than everyone else!

Rhys @ new library

Shirt- Polo blue and white checked.
Watch- Rip Curl chunky square-face watch.
Jeans- Pepe dark grey/blue.
Shoes- Lacoste Africa Specialties.

This look is clean cut and well put together without too much thought or effort in the morning. You can't go wrong with a crisp polo shirt, jeans and white canvas shoes. The large black watch adds a modern edge to this traditional uni student uniform.

A few questions for Rhys:

What song is your most recently played on your ipod? Eskimo Boy by Strange Talk.

Describe your style in one sentence: Uhhm down to earth preppy with a twist.

Do you have a style icon? Yeah, I wouldn't say I dress like him but Brandon Flowers from the Killers. I see what he's wearing and think yeah I could wear that! Did you know he's a Mormon? (Brandon Flowers pictured below).

Yep, we definitely think you could rock this look!

Carissa@W5C car park

Dress- BELLA* TEXTURED FITTED DRESS. The neck dress with low back is so sizzling hot that it should come with its own bodyguard. Also, it can come up with the legging to make a more lovely look as Carissa does.
Cardigan- Zara LONG CASHMERE CARDIGAN. Carissa wears a black cardigan inside. Although you cannot see it through this photo, but it looks really good when you see her.

Cardigan- Wood Wood Aspin Knitted Cardigan. A premium 100% wool cardigan from Danish label Wood Wood. Features knitted baseball stripe cuffs, contrast zip chest pocket and woven Wood Wood label at the hem. I got this cardigan as well and i think it is very suitable for man and woman as u see Carissa handles this cardigan very well.

Bag- Sportsgirl Shoulder Bag. A white shoulder bag that in old school style. It makes Carissa's look add more interest.

Shoes- Zara Ankle Boot. A very young fashion shoes around the world. A lot of girls wear this kind of shoes recently.

Henk @ E6A110

Jumper - Calvin Klein  Was purchased in New York. Henk wears this jumper because it keeps him warm on the colder morning and is also very comfortable. The jumper is a thin knit and feels as though you are wearing a long sleeve shirt. Purchase price was $75 all though it will probably cost more than that in Australia.

Watch - Swatch. Was also a New York purchase. The bright orange watch face is a favourite. Henk loves to wear this watch as it is light comfortable and well tells time.

T-shirt- Billabong. Birthday gift and favourite shirt. Henk likes the design and that is the sole purpose for him wearing this shirt. Although you cannot see it it is black and has billabong written accross the front

Hair - Cut at home by a loving mother. She has been cutting his hair since he was born and he doesnt trust anyone else to bring a pair of scissors near his scalp.

Jeans - Levis  a good comfortable pair of jeans not too big that they dont fall off and not too tight that it strangles Henk. Its a good fashion statement and he prefers Levi jeans.

Emily @ MUV

"I actually think about what I would do if someone like the The Sartorialist approached me for a fashion blog, and I always think: 'I would hope to be carrying my hand-made soda tab bag and not my dorky backpack' Naturally I was wearing my dorky backpack today, oh well."

It was a pleasure running into Emily today and we happen to love her 'dorky' backpack with her androgynous-chic look! This is what she's wearing:

Shoes- Her "shit-kicking-boots", as she refers to them, are infamous. The zippers have been broken since 2009 and we love the fashion statement this creates. Emily thinks they're originally from Argentina, but with all the writing worn off it's hard to be sure. A friend of Emily's got them for free from a babysitting connection a couple of years ago but they were too small for her. She's been wearing them non-stop since.

Pants- Thrifted. $15 from Salvos.

Shirt- Hiend, a Korean menswear brand available at Ali Express.

Sunglasses: Vintage 1960s peacenik frames. Emily picked these up at the Buffalo Exchange in the U.S. Rounded sunglasses have come full circle (excuse the pun) and are making a comeback this summer. A refreshing departure from the various 70's style sunglasses shielding hipster eyes for the past decade or so!

Headphones- Eskuché, a Spain based headphone manufacturer. We love the throwback look!

A short interview with Emily:

1) What are you listening to right now on your ipod? Suffocation by White Ring (Guy Dallas Remix). Merely judging by the title, it could seem like some kind of dank Witch-House music but it's actually a gleeful remix with a lot of bleepy, almost 8-bit sounding high end and a fast BPM.

2) Do you have a style icon? If I had to choose a style icon, I might say Spike from Cowboy Bebop. (Spike on the right:)

3) How would you describe your style? Emily would tag her current style as Haute-Student-Poverty. (Ha! We love it!) Button-ups with ties are a sharp look for rocking up to my internship and hold tension with my broken boots, blingy headphones, and messy sea-water hair. I love teasing the idea that fashion needs to be gender-specific, and embodying an androgynous look. Ironically, about 70% of my current wardrobe is men's wear and I've got a boyfriend who wears mostly women's clothes. (We might just have to track him down too!)

Alessandra @ Culloden Road crossing

Tank- SuprĂ© aztec print in cream, coral, grey and blue hues. Definitely on trend with major fashion houses, the aztec print is promising to deliver this summer! Alessandra chose this top as she likes to mix and match cheaper fashionable prints with higher end pieces. We love how she has teamed this tank with a blue tank underneath, which barely shows, adding further interest to the whole ensemble.

Belt- Zara waist belt from a few seasons ago. Italian born and bred, Alessandra was lucky enough to grow up with Zara on home soil. With Zara recently opening a store in the city, you can grab a belt there similar to this. It is perfect for cinching in Alessandra's tiny waist- a must for the flowy skirt.

Skirt- Glassons midi skirt. A gathered skirt made from a pretty rayon material. This is one of Alessandra's favourite skirts as it can be matched with almost any top!

Shoes-  Urban Outfitters tan suede wedge mary jane. Alessandra says these wedges are great for uni- they may look high but therein lies the beauty of a wedge heel- height with comfort.

Earrings- Sportsgirl chandelier earrings. These large antique metal earrings are the perfect accessory to complete Alessandra's boho look.

Kevin @ X8 car park

Tee- Neighborhood printed tee. It is a well known brand from Japan. The skull on the tee is the brand's famous logo and the black colour is a distinguishing element to the clothing.

T-shirt- Stussy Glacier Plaid Shirt. A checked T-shirt from Stussy. Kevin said that he likes to wear a shirt inside it because it adds more interest to the look.

Watch- G-Shock GD100-1AER- Auto Illuminating Watch. G-shock is a well known brand around the world. The GD100 uses brand new lighting technology, developed by G-Shock to provide a back light that is 6 times brighter than anything to have been previously produced without requiring any additional power. Perfect for late nights when he comes home from the library and needs to find his keys to the apartment! He has matched his black jeans and shirt with this colour block watch.

Shoes- Nike Blazer Low PRM - Restock. Nike shoes are always a good choice if you want a stylish and functional sneaker. Kevin loves this brand and has a small collection. These shoes are a re-issue of the classic basketball shoe from 1973. The shoe's upper is even made with premium vintage suede. Kevin said that he wore these shoes today because he didn't want to look too emo, so he added a pop of colour with his sneakers.

Chris @ X8 car park

Tee-Tantum leopard pocket tee. It is an awesome pocket tee brand from the UK. Chris chose to wear it because he wanted to match the leopard print pattern with his limited edition nike sneakers.

Jeans-A.P.C Most of you fashion forward ladies and gents will know this brand. The jeans which Chris is wearing are the A.P.C petit standard. The jeans start out looking pretty standard, but after two years you can see them transform into your very own worn in style jeans. Chris told us that the most important way to "train" the jeans is to not wash the jeans with regular washing powder. He advises that if you purchase these jeans, you should invest in some washing powder which is used for jeans only. This will ensure that the jeans develop correctly and will protect them from unwanted damage.

Key case- LouisVuitton This brand is well-known worldwide. It is a classic LV pattern design for his keys.

Shoes-nike air footscape wove-leopard. These are limited edition shoes by nike. They were released just a few months ago. When they were made available, they were all gone in just a few hours. These sneakers come in two styles: leopard and zebra. They are definitely on trend this season!

Paul @ X5B

Jumper - Urgo. Selected by Paul today as it was a chilly morning and it is his favourite warm & cosy jumper.

T-shirt - Billabong. He's a fan of the brand and the shirt is the perfect weight for staying cool in stuffy lecture theatres.

Shoes - Dunlop Volleys. These Aussie icons are his most comfortable pair of shoes. They're just excellent for walking all the way from Y3A to E6A!

Jeans - Kenji. Worn as a fashion statement to fit in with his friends. Or did we just make that up? They're that happy medium between the show-off-your-hot-chicken-legs-hipster-skinny-jeans and I'm-a-nerd-who-cares-if-I've-been-wearing-this-same-style-of-jeans-since-I-was-eleven-jeans!

Satchel - An Italian leather messenger received as a birthday gift. Leather is the perfect material for a Uni carry all. It's sturdy and holds the textbooks he needs and all the daily essentials. The comfortable strap doesn't dig in to his shoulder- perfect for long, idle walks to Macquarie Centre.

Bowl cut by Mum.
